After a lot of planning, Jack decided to take a year out to volunteer in Nepal and also visit some friends on his travels. The appeal of Nepal came from his two previous trips in 2015 and 2017 and like many visitors to this wonderful country, he caught the bug. As the saying goes “Nepal, once in not enough”.
His first destination is Kathmandu to meet up with Asim and Namrata who run our partner organisation in Nepal and to meet the other volunteers and get acclimatised. He will be volunteering at the Happy Home projects we support, with the majority of his time spent in fantastic (but hot) Chitwan as well as spending some time in Pokhara.
I fly out to Nepal on 3rd November and I’m looking forward to tying up with Jack to see how he’s getting on and make sure everything is ok, which I’m sure it will be.
