Another great day on the Scottish mountains, typical summer weather – couldn’t see a thing! We climbed An Caisteal near Crianlarich, which was quite tough in the wind and rain. An Caisteal is Munro number 147 by altitude at 995m. Our total gain was 788m.
Added to the Munros we’ve already completed, means we’ve climbed 5,277m with 3,571m to go on our Climb Everest by Munro Challenge. Next stop is the amazing Glencoe in a fortnight, then onto Ben Nevis a week later.
We’d really appreciate your support in raising the funds we need to make a difference to the lives of the abandoned and displaced children in Nepal we are trying to help.
To date, our fundraising total stands at £350. With 4 weeks to go, we’d love to raise lots more. An added benefit is that my employer Legal & General matches the funds raised up to £500.
